Choreography
For the new Chanel Makeup Confidential film, I COULD NEVER BE A DANCER was thrilled to revisit the glory days of dance from cabaret and musical comedies, performed by fingers!
From Hollywood sensation Busby Berkeley to the Moulin Rouge of Gay Paris, by way of Broadway’s Chorus Line, nods and tributes are reinterpreted into a game of easy to fall for illusion, which pays tribute to the elegance of the house on Rue Cambon.
For them, this project was an opportunity to grab hold of the conventions dear to Chanel and turn them into a visual success, playful but always elegant, referential but totally contemporary.
